Word for today…. LOVE

Love unselfishly, whole, unbiased, and true no matter what you do..

Muah

Two Men..

I came across this video on my twitter feed and I first read the comments on the blog post which were good and bad then watched the video for myself.

One, FABULOUS!

Second, the song playing is the song I want to walk down the aisle to.

Third, where can I find these men so that they can help me plan my wedding?

Four, as the words say, “IF THIS ISN’T LOVE THEN TELL ME WHAT IT IS”!!!!!!

I really do not understand the problem individuals have with two people of the same sex getting married.  Everyone wants to bring God into the equation, well first God is the first one to say do not judge, so you are disobeying him all together. I understand everyone will not agree with me and others who are attracted to the same sex but what harm is it doing you?  Just like in heterosexual relationships you all are not having sex 24/7, the same goes for homosexual relationships. Are relationships have substance and we have dreams of taking over in our perspective careers as well.  Stop trying to control feelings and emotions that are not going to go anywhere…

This is for you, YOU who feel the need to preach to homosexuals myself included every chance you get…

Dating vs. Family

Dating vs. Family

You vs. Dating vs. Family

Person you’re dating vs. Family

Heterosexual Dating vs. Homosexual Dating

Heterosexual Family vs. Dating vs. Homosexual Family vs. Dating

Either way, two different upbringings coming together will often have issues to work through because not everyone is raised the same! There are differences, actions, ideas, beliefs etc. that some people are not willing to accept… Who says that your family must accept the person you’re dating? Who says that the person you’re dating must accept your family? Is that an unspoken rule? Is that mutual respect? Then what happens if neither parties wants to do the latter?  Is one person just stuck with having to chose between family and the person that they are dating?

What insight do you have on dating that you can give?

One misconception of the LBGTQ “lifestyle” that I want to get rid of is that lesbians are attracted to all women, we have a type as well.

Help make them aware of the diseases that you can catch as a gay youth..and what ways to protect themselves.

Good question, I am still unsure of that.

There are still those that use religion as a basis for bashing, people will always pick and choose parts from the bible or Koran or whatever your religion is to make a point.

Services I Offer.

I have been mentoring youth since I was 15, while still apart of the youth crowd. I started with the community cheerleading team and never stopped… mentoring is something that I take serious, because our youth are being misguided. I will never stop mentoring the youth because they are the future of America. From drama filled reality tv shows to sex being everywhere you turn your head something that has to give. Having positive women and men in our youth life’s they will be better prepared to face the world.

I have different services that can benefit different personalities:
Mentoring, Blogging, Facilitating and Presenting workshops on topics like Self-Esteem, Self-Worth, Sexual Abuse, Childhood Sexual Abuse, LGBTQ issues (many others but these are the main topics)… I speak about my life growning up and the obstacles that I overcame. I am currently working on ebooks and preparing to write my memoir. I just finished school, so my schedule has more space for clients and events….

I say all of this to say, that I am qualified. Simply because of what I have gone through growing up! I am following my passion and the words of God. I was put here to help, I went through what I went through so that God could use me as a vessel.. (click on my about me page to read more about what I went through) I help others heal through issues they have now and have had since childhood. Some individuals go through life ignoring issues that are obvious to others but not themselves. They are not obvious because they choose to not let them be….

Denial is the devils playground. Don’t let him play in your backyard! Get the help you need now so that you can live a healthy and gracious life.

If you know someone who would benefit from mentoring or some programs that need facilitators for seminars or workshops let me know! I am able to travel as well. Email me: javaniamwebb at gmail dot com

LoveHer

20120618-085632.jpg

Last weekend was Enjoi Enter Tainment’s LoveHer weekend which was a series of days focusing on helping Lesbian women becoming better for themselves and partners.. I represented #teamsingle for the weekend..

20120618-085845.jpg

Friday night started with: Speed Dating, I took part and it was fun. It was something to do and was a step outside of the box for me.. When you are a femme lesbian, it’s hard for others to tell that you are ‘family’ unless you’re in the ‘scene’ or know alot of other lesbians and that I am not.. Lol So I was able to mingle and flirt which is always a plus for me.. 🙂 I met some women that automatically had me giving side eyes…. With pictures to prove I desperately need to work on my facial expressions… And there were also some women who gave me butterflies… I think WE know which one is better for me!

Saturday during the day: Safe Sex/Healthy Relationship Seminars and I facilitated the Healthy Relationship seminar and got to meet Dread aka Miller from Between Women TV…

20120618-085731.jpg

This was a different experience because romantic relationships are hard for me but I was again able to step outside of my comfort zone and do something that was foreign to me and was successful. I also learned a lot about sex that I can truly say I didn’t know and thought I did.. That was an eye opening for me and a lot of other women who were there to participate as well!

Saturday Night: Dice from LaLa Full Court was in the building at the Skate King roller rink I however did not go… Simply because I would have been acting foolish trying to kidnap Dice.. (I kid I kid) wellllll not really!

Sunday Night: LoveHer ended with a bang…. Poetry Night was the closing of a fun filled weekend the name of the night was ‘She is Poetry’ ….. That name has a ring to me, I enjoyed just sitting and listening to words that were being subconsciously spoken to me..

Black Sheep

When you are born into a family….and mostly everyone is normal.. Normal being Heterosexual in my case, it’s hard being the outcast..

Let me explain…..

I am a proud lesbian, my family feels I am in a phase.. Well let’s just say I have outgrown the phase age stage in my life… The moment I came out of the closet I broke free and have been trying to defend who I was ever since.

Why am I constantly defending who I am though?

This is a question I cannot answer because I have a need to want to be loved.. Loved from my family. I care what my family thinks of me, not people who don’t give two shits nor know who I truly am (let’s get this common miscommunication clear) I think I care so much because my aunts and uncles helped raise me where my mother and father fell short and then when my mother died they stepped in even more. So there’s a different dynamic relationship here…..

However, I have to and must follow the same advice that I give my clients who are dealing with or have dealt with the same issues.

Its simple…

God did not make any mistakes with me.

I am who I am.

I will not change who I am for my family.

I will not hide who I am.

I am in love with Javania.

I will not continue to defend my attraction.

I therefore will not longer feel as if I am the Black Sheep in my family.
